Taxiphyllum barberi from South-East Asia is a hardy plant which makes few demands on the water or light. The moss becomes 3-10cm thick and grows willingly on any surface, so it is ideal for decorating stones and tree roots or concealing installations in the aquarium. Attach the plant with a piece of fishing line or cotton thread until it has gained hold on the decor. If it's growth becomes too luxuriant, it can be pruned with scissors.
This is an easy category plant.
Grown in sterile conditions, free from algae, snails and pests the 1-2-GROW plants offer you a healthy beginning for your aquarium. In comparison to normal pots, you get a lot more plant matter per cup. As with growing any new garden you need to be a little patient but they are well worth waiting for.
Carefully remove the plant from its tub and wash off the growing media in clean tap water. Use very sharp scissors to cut the plants into 6-8 small sections. Use tweezers to plant your new plants and just watch them GROW!
Grown to the highest quality in Denmark by Tropica Aquarium Plants.
