Royal Canin Maxi Mature is a specially formulated complete dry food for large breed dogs over 5 years. This highly digestible food contains an increased supply of vitamins C and E and grape Polyphenols for cell protection, regulated protein levels help maintain muscle mass and greatly reduced phosphorus content contributes to the proper functioning of the renal system. It also boasts an enhanced flavour and a formulation that helps to maintain healthy skin and a shiny coat as well as reducing the development of tartar.
Large breed dogs have a life expectancy of about 10 years. To combat the effects of ageing, the nutritional measures adopted from the adult stage onwards must be intensified after the age of 5 years.

The signs of ageing:

Lowered activity and faster onset of signs of fatigue: the dog expends less energy and has a risk of becoming overweight.
Coat changes texture: becomes whiter, duller and rougher.
