The Tetra tec BF800/1000plus replacement filter media when used in the Tetratec IN800 and IN1000plus Internal Filters ensures that the aquarium water is efficiently and completely filtered. Not only does the medium's structure mechanically filter the water removing debris which would otherwise make it cloudy, but essential "filter" bacteria will quickly colonise its huge surface area allowing harmful pollutants such as ammonia and nitrite to be quickly removed ensuring perfect conditions for your aquarium fish.
