A very different style in a power filter, both inside and out. The feature we really like is that cleaning out or replacing the medium is no longer a messy job and is now easy and quick. Changing the job from one put off for months to an enjoyable part of simple aquarium maintenance allowing the optimum flow rate, which is monitored and displayed to run at its optimum, constantly.
High water turnover capabilities are no longer required, offering almost silent running and low consumption (28 watts) operation.
All accessories are supplied. Fresh and saltwater.

Rolf Hagen's development costs of the Fluval G Filter, which will have its worldwide launch in Mid October, are quite staggering so we can understand the higher ticket price on this filter. All the indications are positive that the big investment was worthwhile. Performance is really good and allowing for how easy it is to clean the cartridges, massive water flows are no longer necessary. We think this is a fantastic development for the aquarium market and whilst it will not be given away with any aquariums, we are confident this is a winner for those who appreciate the ultimate in equipment.
