Product Description
Red Sea Reef Colors A (iodine/Halogens)
Reef Colours are complementary supplements for vibrant coral colouration. The Reef colour products are a range of four supplements that contain non-foundation elements. They are related by the biological functions they perform and also are associated with the production of specific colours in the soft tissue of stony corals. All of the elements included in the four supplements are required by stony corals, irrespective of the actual colour they display.
There is a direct relationship between calcium uptake and the individual elements of the Reef Colour Supplements. This provides a precise and safe method of dosing, based on a measured calcium uptake.
Reef Colours A is a complex of iodine and other halogens that play an important role as antioxidants and bio-disinfectors as well as promoting the Pink pigments in corals and should be used for all invertebrates, soft and stony coral aquariums.
1ml will raise the iodine level of 100 litres (25 gallons) by 0.03ppm.
