This set of two tubes are supplied in Juwel Rio 240 aquariums.

Juwel High-Lite Day tube creates a cool and bright light. The High-Lite Nature tube creates a warm and natural light the combination effect of these two tubes enhances natural colours and plant growth.

High-Lite refers to the new light technology by Juwel Aquarium. It combines the existing tube lengths of the T8 with bright T5 technology.

For a Tropical Freshwater aquarium we recommend this combination, one Day tube and one Nature tube.

All fluorescent tubes change and lose brightness with daily use and the light output style changes over time, the recommendation by most experts is to change annually for good plant growth and fish health, we would suggest that a great improvement in the aquarium lighting would be seen if tubes were replaced by two years of use, if plant growth was not to critical.
