The attractive bow front design is one thing, but an aquarium system that helps ensure a successful first experience in fish keeping is far more important. The Aquastart 340 has a great filtration system, a wet and dry filter. This is built into the top of the aquarium where the water is trickled over a medium which is not fully submersed under water. This allows the bacteria colonies, both oxygen breathing and non-oxygen breathing, to thrive and biologically clean the water more efficiently. There are other mechanical filter mediums incorporated to trap particles as well. It is very efficient and easy to maintain as it is not underwater in the aquarium.Maintenance is simple, quick and without the need to unsettle the aquarium or startle the fish by removing dirty filters from inside the tank.
Powerful compact lighting in the hinged lid ensures a bright aquarium.
