Geosystem river gravel is a natural fine gravel suitable for coldwater and tropical aquariums. Being a natural gravel it is predominantly the colour described in the name but has other colours mixed in, unlike manufactured gravel, which is all one colour. The image offers a reasonable likeness but variations do occur. Coverage guide for gravel for a planted aquarium is 1kg for every 150 square cms. (Base length multiplied by base width in centimetres will give the square centimetres of the aquarium).
