Experienced Stock Records Supervisor - flexible working hours.

To enhance our stock range and further improve our supply service to our customers, both in our stores and on our website, we are looking for an experienced stock controller. This position involvers using our excellent computer epos systems and the very latest in hand held, wireless PDA units for stock recording. The target is to keep our stock movement records as perfect as possible, in our warehouse and stores so that we can ensure the best possible service to all of our customers. Existing store staff will continue with the regular stock checking with guidance from the Stock Records Supervisor. The hours can be adjusted to suit the requirements and abilities of the candidate, additional computer based work can be added should time allow. Previous experience is stock recording is essential. Based at our Tollgate Colchester offices.

Pet Advisor - No Current Vacancies at Colchester or at Ipswich.

We are always keen to hear from experienced aquarists or pet keepers with a retail background. 

This position involves assisting store customers, advising on keeping various pets and fish, their general health matters, nutritional advice and housing requirements. Training in animal and fish keeping will be offered to enhance the candidates existing experience. Opportunities to gain suitable qualifications will be provided and supported, should the candidate desire.

Previous retail sales experience and a recent employment history are important and a willingness to offer the best service and help to our customers with their pet care essential.  Experience in either fish or pet keeping will be a further advantage. Candidates must be able to travel to our store, have good communication skills and be of regular, tidy appearance. Please ensure pet and aquatic experience is included on your CV. As part of the leisure industry, this employment is a long term, full time position, consisting of a five day, 38.5 hour week, which does involve regular weekend work. Good wage level depending on current or recent employment and experience.
